BSIFF announces open submissions

It is with excitement that we announce that submissions for the Black Star International film festival 2017, is now open!

You may submit via any of our 5 submission partners Filmfreeway Festhome, withoutabox, click for festivals, or festival home. To access the submissions button, you may go directly to either sites or find the button at our home page @ bsiff.org

Bsiff is an international festival and therefore accepts submissions from anywhere in the world. Kindly share this opportunity amongst your network locally and international.

The 2016 festival saw a screening of 40 films, shortlisted from 3400 submissions. 70 countries participated. We look forward to an even more exciting event in 2017 under the theme – for the young at heart.

You have made your film. It is time to show it to audiences and distributors. You may also want to learn about what it takes to successfully take your film to market. Let us help you do that

Bsiff is a bridge between African Cinema and the world and gives the opportunity for cultural engagements, networking, learning and simply having fun. Film festivals also serve as an important cultural diplomacy tool among nations.

BSIFF happens in late August and whether you are a filmmaker, film lover, or just looking for an opportunity to engage, we invite you to put this on your calendars.
