I am that little black baby…

From the moment my little tiny eyes open outside of that warm fluid swirling away my discomfort, i find that discomfort is after all the least of my problems…

As my mind opens up to the world around me, I soon realize I made a terrible choice with the angels. How can the richness observed above the skies of people rich so deep be so far out…

My mind is bombarded with images not me. Tiny drops of self doubt is how it starts…

My first toy is a girl with milky white skin… soft and complete with the flow of silk cascading down gorgeous cheek bones and nose that seem to still smell the gods…

surely my skin so dark that it swallows the sun and refuses to spit out any remnants…

my hair so woolen it could be a winter coat…

aha perhaps I found my purpose…🤔

In school today, my teacher had beautiful silk on her head and I wished I could touch hers too.

And Maybe one day…

God must have been tired when he got to me…

Skin too dark

Hair too strong

Teeth too sharp

Bones too strong

He even made the rainbow 🌈 and forgot my eyes 👀… eyes focused on her mistakes so deep… mind withered by tiny drops of self doubt…

And when I am old, I will find me somewhere… somewhere in this space, perhaps I will find that God didn’t make a mistake after all.

She made me as strong and dark as his backside… and there, even the sun fears to tread…

For I am that little black baby…

  1. Black women in their different shades and hues hair and shapes are God’s best work in the human race. We must love our natural hair, skin colors and strong bone lines.
Kudos keep up the great works.
